Kukai founded this temple in 807 which is the furthest away from No.1, Ryozenji.
The Hakkaku Hall displays various temple treasures and the `Hachitai-butsu` statue is said to fulfill one’s wish if it is covered with water.
The Main Hall was rebuilt in 1964.
