Fonded by Gyoki. Kukai later repaired the buildings and renamed it to its present name.
The Gold Well(Konsen) beside the Daishi Hall is why this temple was called Konsenji.
If you can see your face in the reflection, it is said you will live until 92.
If not, you will die within 3 years. However, during daylight hours, you are guaranteed to see your face.
